  4.     Is there no end to the dark doings of Jose Antonio Zorrilla
  5. Perez? Last month the former head of the powerful Federal
  6. Security Directorate was arrested in Mexico as a suspect in the
  7. 1984 assassination of journalist Manuel Buendia. Now a U.S.
  8. grand jury is investigating allegations that Zorrilla was also
  9. involved in the death of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration
  10. agent Enrique Camarena Salazar in 1985. According to DEA
  11. informants, Zorrilla knew in advance of Camarena's kidnaping.
  12. One source added that Camarena's interrogator was in direct
  13. contact with Zorrilla. If proved, the allegations would support
  14. the theory that Camarena's murder was approved at the highest
  15. levels of the government.
